This is an exciting opportunity, as physicians will be a designated full-time member of the Emergency Department as well as an educator who demonstrates and provides ongoing academic leadership within the PBCGME-affiliated ACGME-approved Emergency Medicine Residency Program. 40?? hours of physician coverage. 22?? hours of Advanced Practice Professional coverage. Qualified candidates must be BC/BP EM (ABEM or AOBEM), ACLS, and PALS. 35 ??private ED rooms. 43,000 annual patient volume. Certified Stroke and Chest Pain Center. Position Type: Locums Specialty: Physician - Emergency Medicine Job Responsibilities Emergency Care: Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department. Educational Leadership: Serve as an educator within the ACGME-approved Emergency Medicine Residency Program, providing ongoing academic leadership. Physician Coverage: Ensure adequate physician coverage for the Emergency Department, contributing to the efficient operation of the facility. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Advanced Practice Professionals and other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care. Certification Requirements: Maintain current certifications in ACLS, PALS, and board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
