We currently have an exciting opportunity available in Port St. Lucie, FL for an experienced Patient Services Representative at Resolute Pain Management. The Patient Service Representative is responsible for scheduling all new patients for their initial visit, obtaining and verifying insurance information and providing the patient with any pertinent forms prior to their visit. In addition, the Patient Service Representative will be providing customer service support via telephone, data entry and scanning documents+ Provides primary phone support to patients, scheduling new patient appointments, obtaining referral information and scanning in all pertinent paperwork+ Follow up with patients for follow-up visits+ Responds to patient inquiries and establishes chart completion+ Data entry of insurance and scheduling information+ Other duties as assigned+ Reads and abides by the company's code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs+ Reports any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company+ Obtains clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human Resources or Legal Department to do so+ Good organizational skills+ Meet established production and quality goals/metrics+ Follow up in a timely manner on open items+ Able to effectively prioritize work on a daily basis+ Clear and effective communication skills+ Able to work in a call center settingEducation/Experience:+ High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), preferred 1 year of related medical and/or healthcare experienceComputer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:+ Microsoft Office Suite+ EMR- eClinicalworkIf you are ready to join an exciting, progressive company and have a strong work ethic, join our team of experts!
