in a remote role or in our on-site contact center, you will be the
initial point of contact with patients, confirming medical history,
verifying insurance, and providing physician referrals.
Responsibilities: Answer inbound calls and provide great customer
service experiences Obtain patient information from established and
new patients Accurately enter or update patient information in our
scheduling system Identify payer source and verify insurance
eligibility Review scheduling system for needed updated
demographics and consent forms Provide messages or transfer the
call to physicians and nurses Protect and observe patient
confidentiality per policies and procedure Accurately import
registration documents into patients' electronic health record
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent --- 1 year
experience in a contact center or in healthcare 1.5 years of
experience is preferred Proven understanding of Microsoft operating
systems Minimum of 25 wpm typing speed Detail oriented with good
oral and written communication skills and the ability to provide
great customer service For remote roles, candidates will be
required to complete an internet bandwidth assessment to confirm
they have: High speed DSL, fiber, or cable internet service (a
wired connection is strongly preferred) A minimum internet
connection download speed of at least five (5) mbps and upload
speed of at least two (2 )mbps Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual
- English/Spanish preferred Medical or dental office experience and
medical scheduling knowledge ------ Working Conditions and Physical
