change in the daily lives of consumers. As a Product Designer at
Gather, you will be joining the ground floor of a growing team of
cross-functional digital experts in design, product, and
engineering. In this role, you'll be responsible for shaping the
user experience of our new mobile app as we grow our product from
0-1. We are looking for a highly collaborative team member with a
fanatical focus on the customer, and experience designing for
data-powered connected products in areas of disparate systems and
processes. *Responsibilities* - Closely collaborate with Product,
UXR, and Engineering to understand user needs, product objectives,
and technical capabilities - Develop wireframes, prototypes, and
high-fidelity designs to visualize and communicate design concepts,
and iterate on designs based on feedback and user testing - Develop
detailed annotations and specifications for seamless handoff to
engineers and QA - Communicate design decisions effectively to
squads, justify design choices, and advocate for the best user
experience - Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and evolution
of a cohesive visual design system - Stay up-to-date with design
trends and best practices to create modern and engaging interfaces
*Experience* - 3-5 years of product design experience and a
compelling portfolio showcasing your ability to maintain a high bar
for quality at scale - Track record of achieving success in
collaborative cross-functional squads - Detailed problem solver
with deep understanding of user experience principles, design
thinking methodologies, and best practices - Strong visual design
skills, including proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma) -
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability
to effectively collaborate with diverse teams - Ability to thrive
in an iterative, fast-paced startup environment and adapt to
changing priorities - Passion for creating innovative and impactful
