Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing excellent rehabilitation services at our facilities and for our home-based patients. As a key member of our healthcare team, the Physical Therapist will be responsible for implementing patient-specific treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, alleviating pain, and managing overall functional abilities post-injury or illness. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, and highly skilled in the latest physical therapy techniques to promote patient health and wellness. Evaluate patient conditions based on clinical data and diagnostics Formulate individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals Conduct physical therapy sessions to improve patient mobility, decrease pain, and prevent disability Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Provide advice and education to patients and their families on managing conditions and improving lifestyles Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize treatment plans and outcomes Expertise in physical therapy techniques and diagnostic testing Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and teams Ability to manage multiple patient cases with diverse needs Proficiency with physical therapy equipment and health information systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid physical therapy license in the state of practice CPR and First Aid certification preferred
