The EMT assists with monitoring, emergency preparedness, basic treatments, and daily care activities while maintaining compliance with Florida PPEC regulatory standards and pediatric safety procedures. \n\n ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES \n• Assist with monitoring and responding to patient needs under RN direction. \n• Provide support with respiratory equipment, tracheostomy care, and suctioning within competency and training. \n• Assist with feeding, hygiene, toileting, positioning, and mobility. \n• Recognize and promptly report changes in patient condition to the supervising RN. \n• Participate in emergency response procedures and assist with stabilization as directed. \n• Maintain patient safety, infectionâ??control practices, and clean care environment. \n• Complete required documentation and participate in staff training and competencies. \n\n PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS \n• Ability to bend, lift, kneel, and assist in emergency response and patient positioning. \n• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a clinical environment. \n• Visual and auditory acuity to safely monitor patients and equipment. \n• Manual dexterity to perform emergency support and care tasks safely. \n\n COMPLIANCE STATEMENT \nThis role complies with Florida PPEC regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
