Start dates are determined after funding confirmation. Northrop
Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for a Level 4 -
Test Conductor to act as a Flight Test Control Engineer (FTCE).
This position will be located in Melbourne, FL. In this role you
will develop flight test strategies on a classified DoD program.
This FTCE will report to the Flight Test Manager for The Program.
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work
environment with high expectations, significantly diverse
assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels of
The Program. The candidate must be able to collaborate closely with
System Engineers, hardware and software engineers, and
integration/test engineers to provide leadership and guidance
within Northrop Grumman, our suppliers and customer. The candidate
will lead test working group meetings in the development of
strategies related to ground and flight test operations and
maintenance. Key Responsibilities: • Planning and strategies for
the operational aspects for the systems under test • Development of
procedures to support future test execution and maintenance of a
developmental fleet of test aircraft • Future site planning
development • Support equipment planning • Very strong
organization, coordination, planning and teaming skills Basic
Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline
with 9 years of related professional/military experience with a
background in engineering, OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM
discipline with 7 years of related professional/military experience
with a background in engineering. • Your ability to transfer and
maintain the final adjudicated government Secret Clearance (DoD
must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any
program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable
period of time, as determined by company. Preferred Qualifications:
• 5 years of experience working large flight test program •
Military flight line experience • Active DoD Top Secret clearance
(in-scope) AS-FA3 Primary Level Salary Range: $118,600.00 -
$178,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline;
however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when
determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability
insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off
(PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. The application period
