Responsibilities SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Facilities Shift Manager, the incumbent adjusts repairs, troubleshoots and maintains electrical applications on and off-site. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures. Performs all preventive maintenance on systems and maintains applicable log books. Conducts walk-through inspections; lighting rounds of entire property. Repairs electrical systems through out the property, including on and off-site facilities. Replace light bulbs, ballasts, sockets, switches, GFI receptacles, and dimmers. Understand basic electrical code as it applies to commercial facilities. Records gauge / meter readings, repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment. Maintains technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate. Knowledge of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s policies, procedures and schedules to insure minimal interruption to business operations and to prioritize projects appropriately. Maintains tools, equipment and supplies in good, clean, operating order; monitors supplies. Interfaces and coordinates with internal departments to schedule installations and repairs so as to cause minimal business interruption. Maintains a clean, safe, work environment within area of responsibility. Promotes positive public / employee relations at all times. Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE : High school diploma, trade school certificate preferred as well as a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and / or experience. PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 lbs, and often work in high, precarious places in moderate noise levels. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Prolonged period of walking, reaching, climbing and moving / carrying weight of up to 100 lbs. Must be able to work in high places on ladders, and work around high voltage and fiberglass insulation.
